Camp George History and Mission

Mr. Bob Courdy, the long-time President and Chapter Chair of the Southern California TSA (now retired), always wanted to have a summer camp for kids with TS here in Southern California.  In 2010, he brought this dream into reality!  The first camp was a wonderful success and became the foundation for an annual effort to build upon and expand in future years.  In 2012 our camp received an official name, “Camp George” (named after Georges Gilles de la Tourette), and its mission is to continue to provide an annual family summer camp experience to children and families dealing with Tourette Syndrome.
